WQC 2003 Weld Graph
CIW Weld Graph tm.
The Horizontal Axis Represents Time in Cycles.
The Vertical Axis Represents the Measurement of Weld Nugget Displacement
Secondary Amperage, Primary Current, Pneumatic Pressure, CIW L-814Trigger Voltage.
The Green Line Curve represents Displacement of the Electrodes during Weld Nugget Formation.
Movement towards the top indicates weld electrode retracting while the downward indicates Weld electrode
extending.
The Red Line Curve represents current reading of the secondary transformer.
The Black Line Curve represents the trigger voltage. The Descending Graphic Line Displays the SCR is
conducting voltage applied to the welding transformer. The Ascending Graphic Line Displays the SCR
Voltage is Off.
The Blue Line Curve represents Pnuematic Pressure reading of the Air / Oil.
The Yellow Line Curve represents the command schedule for the SCR with CIW SCR Weld Control
Part Seq Time: Documents the Decreased Manufacturing Cycle Time Per Part
Part Count: Documents the Increased Productivity Per Shift, Per day
